NEWS AND NOTES:

There will be a Men’s Business Meeting today  at 4:30 p.m.  All men are encouraged to attend if possible.  

Wednesday Walk Group for Ladies started this past Wednesday.  It will be from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and it will begin with a devotional, then walk (weather permitting) or exercise in the building.  They will end with a light snack before bible class. A sign-up sheet will be posted in the back for the snacks & the devotional talk.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

The church will be helping to prepare boxes of food at the Food Bank on Saturday, September 7th from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.  Anyone that is able to help would be greatly appreciated!  Please see Lester Waldren if you have any questions.

There will be a Men’s Business Meeting next Sunday, September 8th at 4:30 p.m.  All men are encouraged to attend if possible.

We would like to try again to have something for children ages 2-5 during the sermon time.  We are looking to call it “Toddler Time” and will be in need of 4 or 5 volunteers who are not currently teaching on Sunday’s or Wednesday’s to rotate helping with the children.  There will be a sign-up sheet on the bulletin for anyone that is interested in helping. Please see Kevin Culbertson for more details or if you have any questions.
